My job at the wellbeing centre at the Felbertal work school is to look after the physical and mental wellbeing of the pupils.
It is extremely fulfilling for me to work with young people. This includes treating wounds as well as sports and leisure injuries or using alternative healing methods such as applying throat compresses for sore throats as well as providing care for various illnesses. I am also on hand to help with a wide range of emotional and educational concerns. The holistic aspect is always at the centre of my care for young people.
Another focus is the organisation of all aspects of school medicine. This includes working with our school doctor Dr Michaela Schwarzenbacher on the annual school examinations and planning and carrying out vaccinations together with the public health department.

my name is Dr Michaela Schwarzenbacher, General practitioner from Wagrain, I have been working as a school doctor at the Felbertal work school since January 2023. I have over 20 years of experience as a school and occupational physician, specialising in Homeopathy and acupuncture.
My responsibilities include health counselling for the school community and preventative health measures. Compulsory annual screening through. Please give your child the Vaccination card or a copy with. Parents or pupils will be informed of any abnormalities.
