Current field of activity: After WSH and SAE, I combined the two training programmes and worked as a service technician in the professional audio sector. I also worked as an ISO9000 quality manager. Later I switched to medical technology. I was then offered the opportunity to work in the IT sector, where I learned programming, specialised in software testing and obtained various certificates. Over time, I progressed from software development to senior account manager.
Personal comment: The training at the Werkschulheim gave me a very strong foundation for working both independently and as part of a team. The way of thinking was always solution-orientated and practical, which was a great advantage over purely theoretical knowledge transfer. It helped me to familiarise myself with completely new topics very quickly. And the friendships that developed during my time at the school are of a quality and longevity that I have not seen at other schools.
