Display case

Sixtus Nemeth

My self-designed display cabinet consists of a carcass made of blockboard, veneered in oak. The individual elements are butt-jointed using lamellae. The carcase is divided into two sections: On the left are three drawers that run on Movento rails, while on the right are two glass doors. The glass inserts are framed in mortise-and-tenon frames. Behind the doors there are two compartments with shelves made of laminated safety glass. The bottom drawer glides on runners and strips. The drawer fronts run vertically and form a harmonious overall appearance thanks to the continuous veneer. There is also an open compartment above the three drawers, which is ideal for storing wine bottles or other items. Thanks to its transparent and elegant design, the display cabinet fits perfectly into any kitchen or living room.
