Sideboard

Jolanda Lindenthaler

The „Velora“ sideboard I designed consists of a walnut veneered carcass divided into three parts and butt-joined with slats. With its elegant design and a touch of vintage charm, my journeyman's piece adds a special touch to any room. It not only impresses as an aesthetic piece of furniture, but also offers generous storage space. Decorative elements can be perfectly showcased on the surface. Its versatility allows the sideboard to be used in a wide variety of areas - whether in the living room, entrance area or as a stylish crockery cabinet. The wavy glass inserts on the doors lend the piece of furniture a special elegance and create interesting light reflections. Behind the doors on the left and right, there is plenty of space for everyday items such as books or folders. The two drawers in the centre are ideal for storing smaller items. The top drawer is mechanically guided, while the bottom drawer is classically guided on a runner, strip and tilt rail. The open compartment above offers a practical storage area for frequently used objects such as keys or smaller decorative items. The frame of my sideboard is made from solid walnut and gives the furniture a delicate look with its bevelled feet.
