AutoChess

Leon Zoppoth

The AutoChess is a device that can move the chess pieces magnetically. In contrast to a conventional chessboard with 64 squares, it has 96. The remaining 32 squares serve as a car park for the chess pieces, where each piece has a fixed position. The AutoChess offers the possibility of positioning the pieces with a touch on the external touch display via two axes in the housing, writing down the moves on the graphic interface and carrying out other possible actions. These include, for example, playing the games stored in the archive, initialising a match against the computer and then saving these in the archive.
