As a Light into Darkness partner school, our school community was particularly committed this year and collected donations for families in need in Austria throughout autumn and Advent. Through numerous campaigns - from cake buffets to the sale of workpieces and the collection of returnable bottles to the auction of a self-built nativity scene - an impressive sum of over 9,200 euros together.
We wanted to use these at the Ö3 Christmas miracle personally. Equipped with a piano and Christmas songs, the two second classes made their way to the glass container on Kapitelplatz. The excitement was great - from the radio interview to making music together in Salzburg's historic city centre.
Special thanks go to the Family Felder, who provided our donating pupils (and teachers) with hot dogs and warm sausages - the crowning glory of an all-round successful excursion.
