From 23 to 25 May 2025, Werkschulheim Felbertal celebrated the 60th anniversary of its sports club. The event was extremely well attended - numerous pupils, teachers, parents, siblings and many Altfelbertal residents took part, making the anniversary weekend a very special occasion.
The varied programme reflected the wide range of activities offered by the sports club. A special highlight was the senior school beach volleyball tournament on Saturday. In addition, football and streetball tournaments, badminton competitions, a cross-country run, a trail run and other hands-on activities in the areas of climbing, athletics and backstroke games ensured top sporting performances. The youngest guests were not left out either: a children's station, a climbing tower, stick shooting and a circus station offered varied entertainment for the little ones.
Catering was provided by the school kitchen, while a dedicated team of pupils led by Alfons Baldinger provided drinks and snacks. Franz Kendler was the professional host of the programme and also moderated the festive ceremony. All sections of the sports club introduced themselves and emphasised the importance of sport for school life at the Werkschulheim with their contributions.
The anniversary was an all-round successful weekend that impressively expressed the spirit of the sports club - movement, enthusiasm and community.
